A poetry panacea

 Poetry is sometimes a passion but most of the time” it is a process of expression “ that is what I always d like to say . For some people poetry is easy and for some people it’s not and for some it just comes naturally.

WHAT IS POETRY? 

In my own words ,

Poetry is a language used to express feelings  , emotions and events in a peculiar , unique and sometimes ambiguous ways .

HOW  DO I IDENTIFY MY POETIC DEVICES ?

This is quite easy for a literature fanatic like me . I love playing with words and I also love metaphors , oxymoron , hyperbole e.t.c. Using phrases like “the dancing rain” . This is simply giving human attributes to inanimate objects also called personification.

Therefore the easiest way to identify your poetic devices is simply imagining it and relating it to your daily life . A device with a factual meaning  is the easiest to identify like Simile and the one with an underlying meaning have proven  a little bit difficult to group or identify. 

Here is an example of a sonnet

Title :The love letter , Dear Tina.

Type :sonnet
